Karbala deploys 12 thousand security elements preparing for Imam Mahdi birthday

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Karbala Police Directorate announced on Friday, the deployment of 12 thousand security elements of the army and police forces across the city, in the farms, the highlands, deserts and rural roads in preparation for securing the necessary protection to month of Shaban visit.“A detailed security plan was prepared making use of studying all the negatives and positives of the millions – people visits,” Karbala police chief, Major General Ahmed Zweni said in a statement released by the Ministry of Interior.Millions of Shiite Muslims head from inside and outside Iraq on the night of the mid of the month of Shaban (this year 24th June) towards Karbala city to commemorate the birth anniversary of the 12th Imam, Imam Mahdi at Imam Hussein bin Ali shrine and his brother Abbas (PBUT)./129
